COMMENTS:

Damon joined the club last pre-season after being tapped up by his buddy The Jew. As a youngster Damon won many a trophy for youth teams with Cwmcarn and Pontymister. Early on it was evident what a talented player had signed, but it wasn't long into his senior career where Damon moved into a holding midfield role after being tried initially as a striker. With his pace, quick feet, great 1st touch, good reading of the game and nice range of passing, Damon excelled in this position and won The 2nd team Players Player Award in his 1st year. After loving the 2nd team so much, Damon even took it upon himself to play a makeshift centre back, and looks equally as comfortable playing the ball out from there too. Despite great competition for the centre midfield spots, Damon is already pushing for a regular slot in the 1st team after doing well in a handful of appearances for them already.
 
Off the pitch, Damon likes hangring around with the '1 Direction' crew, having house parties, sessions on FIFA and can often be found on Saturday Nights in The Market Tavern winding up the Abercarn boys.
